    all QFT

Say what you may, but $100 is a hell of a lot, especially for casuals, which is where the 'record breaking numbers' are estimated to be coming from.

Were big fights in the past inflated/taxed like this?

$100?... Little greedy tbh. The fight has the entire public backing, why tax us for getting additional backing/potential buyers.
Everyone likes to feel like they got a deal, and we are not getting a lot of build up content at all, plus the weak sauce undercard that's lined up...
Might turn a lot of potential buyers away. Plus you can watch it free an hr later or the following week prior to the Canelo/JK fight

    don't know guys.....

GOAT days. We had analog in Milwaukee until early 2004. Having every boxing and MMA PPV for free was dope. I had some epic fight parties from 18-21 or so.

I know exactly what you're talking about, but you don't even have to go back that far.

These guys talking about undercard, man shut up with that BS, there's only 1 fight I'm worried about May 2nd 2015, it ain't Lomachenko's.

I told my boy that I'll pay for it and all systems are go, hell, the last time we were together was when Nova lost, and I found out that out of 15 of us, I'm the only rooting for Floyd, I couldn't believe it, so this $100 is gonna feel much better after Floyd wins.

This is the boxing super bowl for casuals... They will pay for the big get-together opportunity. BBQs are being planned right now. Casuals see these two as the two best fighters in boxing, PERIOD. There is no hate or shade involved. The good thing about U.S. casuals is there are very few fanboys. They just want the fight to live up to the hype.

I see what you mean, just a little worried with that tag; I don't think there has ever been such an expensive ppv for anything ever on tv or in the movies, even admission to theme parks lol....?

Either way, I'm a boxing fan so naturally I am hoping for the best

Wonder if they'll allow people to stream it through their tablets.

Google and Amazon should get involved with the streaming side.
