Former champion DeMarcus Corley is predicting a dominating performance by WBC/WBA welterweight and junior middleweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. on May 2nd, when he faces WBO king Manny Pacquiao at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Corley is part of Mayweather's camp as a sparring partner. The two of them faced each other more than ten years ago, with Mayweather winning a twelve round unanimous decision but not before Corley landed some telling blows in their junior welterweight title eliminator.
The 40-year-old veteran is still going strong. Based on what he's observed, Mayweather is training for a late rounds knockout. If it goes to a decision, he picks Mayweather to dominate his way to at least a 116-112 decision.
