I might be in the minority here, but with Kovavlev currently a free-agent in terms of cable companies, I could see him and Kathy going with Haymon.

I doubt she sides with Haymon with her continually questioning PBC and Haymon being able to sustain itself. They're gonna work out a new contract with HBO where they'll be able to fight on PBC if that's what happens

As we know, the WBC, World Boxing Concil, will provide the organization of the fight between Sergei Kovalev and Adonis Stevenson to the promoter that will ensure the best scholarships for both boxers.
Already Yvon Michel and Al Haymon stated that they were ready to lay by $ 10 million for the presentation of the fight on September 26 at the new Coliseum in Quebec.
HBO and Kathy Duva are now breaking the bank to counter the offer of PBC Al Haymon group. And it goes without saying that an association with Jean Bédard and Interbox could bring water to the mill as well have benefited from market Montreal and Quebec.
But as Jean Bédard and Yvon Michel are both Quebecers and they are already partners in the presentation and organization of some parties and several battles, many were uncomfortable discussing this possibility.

That works for Kovalev making quick work out of Mohamedi...aim for June IMO.... I don't think it'll last that long anyway...given there's no cuts or anything.
Article said Duva/Interbox working together to counter their offer....but no way they're winning it
The French text reads: "...au promoteur qui va garantir les meilleures bourses pour les deux boxeurs."

How did you manage to translate "les meilleures bourses" with "the best scholarships"??? Did you use Google Translate?

Not only could Haymon offer more money than HBO, but he could open up tv dates for her other fighters. Uncle Al knows that if he's able to steal away Kovalev from HBO (and maybe Golovkin and Lomachenko next year), the PBC's credibility is a lock and HBO is either going to have to play ball or get out. Just some strategy I could see playing out.

                  I doubt it myself.

Duval doesn't really like Haymon and they criticize him/PBC at every corner. Plus like George said, they always question how Haymon can sustain everything. Plus I don't think Kovalev's manager would like that very much

                    Still though:

Announcer: Are you willing to fight anyone?

                    Stevenson: Anyone!

                    Announcer: What about Kovalev?

Stevenson: Eh...je suis désolé Monsieur, mais je ne parle pas anglais

Really doubt Duva and Klimas want Kovalev to get involved with Haymon, as it would mean ceding control to Haymon.
