    Kovalev apparently responded to Beterbiev on facebook, rough translation:

    "It's interesting that he said he beat me at something, when is it that you beat me? In your dreams?

    We met twice, in sparring the first 2 rounds the back of your head was touching your arse, then in rounds 3 and 4 I got tired and you couldn't do anything with me! You were hitting air as if you were shadow boxing! The whole Russian team will confirm it who was in Kislovodsk.

    And second time in Russian championship tourney the judges gave Beterbiev gift decision, because no one had my back and I was boxing alone against the whole corrupt commission of Magnitogorsk.

    What now? there's no need to lie to the public Artur! Earn your shot with me and then I will punish you.

    I honestly wouldn't want to be on the wrong side of kovolev..

    He seems to have a very bad mean streak as evident in his fights with pascal and sillkya and post figth comments towards adonis...

      Ouch. If Adonis wins but looks like **** against bika, they should feed him to beterbiev. Then have these two face off, huge fight in Montreal.

          He did speak on that, he said he's not ashamed to admit he went down from a bodyshot but that he was out of camp and Golovkin was close to his fight, i.e. fight-ready. He said they sparred on another occasion and they beat the hell out of each other.

            So he claims he is dreaming and then that it was a gift decision....

              If those quotes are real, then this fight has to happen by the end of next year. It seems like there's some serious tension between them.
