Comments Thread For: Arum: Mayweather's Leg Slowed Up, Pac a Big Favorite

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum, promoter of WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao, considers his fighter to be a big favorite to defeat WBC/WBA champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. on May 2nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Arum had promoted Mayweather from the start of his pro career until 2006, when Mayweather bought out his contract and became a free agent. It wasn't much later when Arum brought Pacquiao on board with his company.

I don't know Arum, Mayweather legs seemed just fine against the Ghost and Maidana 2. He uses his legs when he needs to.

Floyd's legs seemed perfectly fine on his last fight against maidana - round 12 he ran the whole time.

Arum underestimating Memo's abilities to "help" Floyd.

Floyd looks amazing against fighters with slow feet (Guerrero, Canelo, Maidana)

Nothing changed since Cotto, his legs aren't the same which is why he lays on the ropes more and more.

There is nothing wrong with laying on the ropes and toying with opponents and still getting W's. Just getting some good defense in.

Floyd's legs aren't as fast as they use to be. That much I'm sure everybody is aware of.

He lied on the ropes and got his nose busted up just to toy with Cotto? Yeah right.

They've already started working on their excuse with this 5 million dollar PED penalty bull-crap. After Mayweather pummels Pac, watch how the PED accusation starts to swirl. All you can do is laugh, pure comedy.

Your little hypothetical sounds a lot like what Floyd's camp did to Manny. He's too good, must be the 'roids!
