Ward will NEVER fight Kovalev but I can't really blame him. Ward can't handle that accurate and very hard jab Kovalev throws so often. Kovalev is always going for the kill by cornering his opponent and unloading accurate bombs. He always gets the KO and in my opinion he would KO Ward with no problem.

Ward needs to fight period...he needs to stop focusing on calling out smaller guys and get back into the mix in his division

The p4p #2 calls the shots. He can make GGG move up or make Kovalev do the Dawson doe.

When he moves up to Light-Heavyweight.

Big fights still on the horizon at 168.

You want to find me a P4P list where Ward is listed at all, much less at #2? Go ahead, I'll wait. Ward is no longer on any P4P list unless you find one that has not been updated since last year. Ward is in no position to call the shots over anyone. The guy can't even find a network to show his fights. IF he actually had a fight lined up, that is.

Thought it was interesting that Itskowitch recently said Ward was not under contract with HBO. Not a good idea for RN & Ward to alienate HBO. Being with Jay Z & Prince pretty much blocks business with Haymon & thus Showtime.

                Showtime will work with Ward.

Not at the price he is demanding for his tune up fights. Both HBO and Showtime told him to take a walk because they were not interested. HBO went as far as to say their year is basically complete when it comes to boxing broadcasts and they would have no slot open for him in any case.
