Duhfuq?!? Get out of here! Guerrero, whether you like it or not, is a solid welterweight contender. Rios best days, are behind him, and a weight class below him.

Why doesn't PAC's win over Rios get as much as Floyd's over Guerrero's?!?

its hard to say, Guerrero has skills but he's missing something. Rios is tougher and works harder. I'd say they are on a similar level.I agree is gets put off to easily though. pac schooled him badly, Rios and maidana would be a war.

Again what does Chaves rating have to do with this? The topic is Rios who has done absolutely nothing at 147 and far less than Guerrero which I pointed out the first time.
.
Even Rios fought Manny but he lost. I can bring up that fight but Rios was just lost in that fight so big deal. Guerrero was just as lost with Floyd and for most of the Thurman fight. Both Rios and Guerrero have heart as I indicated already. Both have good chin.
Their records are very similar at WWs. That is the point. You think its not comparable.
Before Guerrero came to the WW division, one can argue that that Guerrero was good in his respective division but now at WW? He will do OK with the right style of opponent just like Rios.

I honestly think Rios beats Guerrero. Guerrero hasn't shown any ability to utilize his skils at WW. The weight has made him slow as molasses.

Like I said earlier, rankings can be overated. Be careful.
They also had Khan rated #3 without even fighting once at the WW limit. If he would have fought someone at the time, they would have done like you and defended like you just did by looking at the ratings which is just wrong!
You need to analyze how they got ranked the way they did. WHo did they fight? Also important is, have they been ranked well consistently over a period of time.

At this point of time, both of these fighters are pretty much on the same level. They will fight toe to toe for sure, guerrero is a willing phone booth fighter, it's his first go to style if his opponent obliges him and rios would certainly oblige him so. They have both great chin, equally slow, and in every sense a Class B or C fighter, so they would most likely last each other and batter themselves to the very end.
This is the the case of who gets tired first loses. Their skill level doesn't allow one of the other to dominate each other, so, stamina factor should be the be all and end all for this fight.
