Let's be honest Rios and Guerrero are pretty much the same level, both got granite chins but are as slow as molasses with limited footspeed (Rios probably has quicker feet).

In fact I think Rios is probably better than that overrated Guerrero, although I respect Guerrero.

Anyone else remember this shet? Before the fight the Floyd stans tried saying this could be an upset ROFL to make the inevitable win look better, anyone with 2 working eyes could see Guerrero didn't have a chance in hell.

hell lets make rios v guerrero that would actually be a foty candidate

Guerrero has more of everything except power , and at JWW there really aint all that much in power between them , there is a much wider gap in boxing ability and ring smarts , who has been fighting bigger much better class of fighters , considering opponents and weights Guerrero is the next level up from Rios .

I would bet good money Guerrero takes Rios to school .
The poll disagrees. Guerrero is always brawling with these fringe welters, but doesnt have much power and small for a welter, 152 vs Thurman. Theres top LWs that heavy, but hardly any that slow

STFU, nobody talks up the guerrero fight.

How does being a harder puncher remotely make it a better win? Maidana has a higher KO percentage than Pacquiao but we wouldn't consider a win over him better than a win over Manny. Like that poster said, a win over a welterweight coming off of a win is better than a win over a junior welterweight coming off a loss.

Yes Manny had been KO'd but Floyd had also been out for a year after going through a tough fight with Cotto. That's why the Floyd win is ranked higher.

When youre coming off a bad Ko loss its best to face a soft puncher, thats nothing new.

The polls lol , around here they are all fan based , every poll is somebody trying to either pump Mannys tyres up or pump Floyds tyres up , the polls mean jack sht in any of these forums .

Im talking about their sizes , boxing ability , what class they been in against at what weights , we might find out on this one it would be a good fight for Rios to pursue right now .

What class is that? Like Rios, Guerrero got shut out by a p4per. He also beat Berto. What else? Let me know his top 3 wins. I doubt the bigger Rios would struggle with the likes of Aydin and Kamegai at welter

So you only care about judges' opinions of the scoring of a fight.

This is a discussion forum where people give their opinions about scoring etc, in case you hadn't noticed. Grow up.

Rios absolutely does not beat Guerrero. Guerrero boxes him like he did Aydin on his welterweight debut and wins a clear UD.

I already told you more than once why Berto wasnt top 10. You really need an explanation for Aydin?
No "dumbass", Ring ****zine is not an official ranking system. It means absolutely nothing in terms of sanctioned fights and it's owned by a boxing promoter.

You still can't come up with your own list of top 10 welterweights in July 2012. If Berto wasn't top 10 who was? Either list them or stop lying about it.

For a Golovkin worshipper like you it's ironic that you would be so concerned with what you call legitimate top 10 fighters. That makes your idol's resume look pretty weak.

Oh you mean the same ESPN that ranks Miguel Cotto and Adonis Stevenson as the number 1 fighters in their divisions? So your boy Golovkin is the second best middleweight today?

Or the same Ring ****zine that had Broner in their top 10 pound for pound list? But since you want to go by their rankings explain why Guerrero has been consistently ranked in the top 10 at welterweight by both Ring ****zine and ESPN but Rios has never been ranked there. Why not? That's what I thought.
