Marquez has a point. Whether Manny can KO Mayweather or not, he has to beat him so thoroughly that there is no question as to who the winner is. A close fight will most certainly favor Mayweather with the judges.

I loved reading this post because I can sense your frustration at the ******s thinking Manny is faster than Mayweather and is so much better. I give Pac 3 or 4 rds because of the start up but Manny is going to get shut out. He's too small to back Mayweather up and sloppy with his punches and at times off balance. Not to mention he still can't dodge a counter right hand. As soon as the fight is over his fans on Boxingscene will have every excuse in the book ready. Hell! I already read them.

Pacquiao is not a sloppy off balance puncher like you claim. He has the biggest thighs and calves in boxing. Its his superb footwork that keeps him on balance and allows him to throw proper punches I.e. Punching all the way through his target, and then getting out of dodge before his opponent counters.

Go watch the Bradley 1 fight on YouTube. Bradley is naturally a bigger guy than pacquiao. He was fighting at 152 in the amateurs. Bradley was supposed to be an excellent counter puncher, and have athletic skills like mayweather. He was very fast and used distance very well. Pacquiao was actually timing his punches and aiming where he knew bradleys head would be after trying to dodge mannys straight left. Bradley would lean his head back and to the right and duck it down and mannys fist would meet him at that exact spot everytime. Manny was very accurate in that fight. He could not miss with that left hand and Bradley has a very similar style to floyds at times, and he was fighting like Floyd alot during the first pacquiao fight.

Manny has a very underated defense. Again the first Bradley fight is a great example of pacquiao using a really good guard and defensive plan. Bradley was barely hitting him with anything the whole fight, and the ones that did land didn't have any effect on pacquiao. Pacquiao outlanded Bradley 2 to 1, even though Bradley threw many more punches. Bradley could not penetrate pacquiaos air tight defense. Pacquiao ahas some great moves. He would hit Bradley with a right to the body, and then duck under bradleys right hands and come with an overhead right or a big left to the body while keeping his chin guarded with the other hand. Pacquiao is very smart in the ring, and the only guy to outhink pacquiao in the ring I the last 10 years was Erik Morales who only beat him by one round on all the scorecards, and then got thoroughly dominated by pacquiao in both rematches, in great fights where morales was putting up the best fight of his life in the 3rd fight, ultimately succumbing to the power and speed in the later rounds, and getting knocked down and out for the first times in his career. Pacquiao wasn't allowed to wear his Reyes gloves for the first Morales fight, and said it was because of his Reyes gloves he didn't win the first one. Pacquiao gets to wear Reyes against Floyd. Hes in for a long night. Pacquiao got this fairly easily. There might be tines Floyd might trouble Manny a little bit, because so much is oj the line. But trust me the last thing Floyd wants to do is make it a dogfight with pacquiao.

Just can't see Manny knocking out Floyd, I could see Manny hurting Floyd and putting him in almost complete defensive mode and if Floyd were to get the win then roll on the September rematch.Judges see what they see.Once your'e on the amateur boxing circuit in the uk and witness some dire decisions there it does make life a little easier to move on.I do think this fight will be full of drama and be close enough to warrant a rematch. Manny off to a flyer but running in to big counters down the stretch !

You can never dig up a post where I accused Manny of being on anything. It's ironic how you say Floyd fans accused Manny of being on PEDS when immediately after Pacquiao got knocked out by Marquez his whole fan base cried foul without any proof whatsoever. Manny is the one who told you guys after the 3rd Marquez fight that if you don't think or say he won then you are not Pinoy. Floyd never told us that.

The majority of the people who thought Marquez were robbed were mayweather and Marquez fans. Many members of the press had pacquiao winning. All 3 fights were razor thin. Pacquiao obviously got robbed in the first fight. He drawer due to a score card error because the judge admitted he made a mistake by scoring the first round 10-7 instead of 10-6 in a 3 knockdown round. Manny only needed to win 2 more rounds after the first, which he easily did. Manny was on the wrong end of that error. The second and third fights were both also razor thin. Pacquiao was the aggresor in both fights, and pacquiao outlanded Marquez by a comfortable margin in the 3rd fight, and also knocked Marquez down in the second fight. It was not even close to what you could call a robbery. Could both fights have gone to Marquez? I dont think so because again if they are landing about an equal number of punches but pacquiao is the aggresor and his punches hurt Marquez alot more than Marquez punches, then they have to give it to pacquiao for effective aggresion. Pacquiao was again robbed in the first Bradley fight where he took Bradley to school and gave him a boxing clinic, and somehow 2 judges gave it to Bradley even though 48/50 media members had it for pacquiao, as well as all 7 who judges who reviewed the fight. Most everyone had pacquiao winning by a landslide. Pacquiao outlanded Bradley almost 2 to 1, and was much more powerful and accurate than Bradley throughout the fight. That robbery is what led to his demise in the 4th fight. He didn't want to leave it up to the judges so he took the wrong risk at the wrong time against a ped abuser. Mayweather will not be on peds and Manny will never forget to duck against a mayweather right hand.
