Arthur Abraham retained his WBO super-middleweight title by defeating Paul Smith on points in Berlin on Saturday night. In his second victory over the Englishman, the German veteran won by two scores of 117-111 and one of 116-112,
Abraham again dominated in the face of a spirited challenge from Smith, who had been angered after losing their first bout in September last year in Kiel. There was no doubt about the result of the rematch.
