Without a doubt. I've seen youtube videos of Hagler throwing the left hand. WAAAAAY before Pacquiao ever did it.

The pull counter has existed since the dawn of time
          Thank you!!!!

Anything at all to discredit a fighter. My god.
Yeah, its really a silly trend

Some of these guys try too hard to discover something ... and only end up discovering and exposing how little they know about boxing.

A lot of fighters who have fought Floyd Mayweather seem to fall for it continuously but to name one who came close with success was Maidana, in the second fight, near end of Round 3. Robert Garcia definitely did study on how to counter it.

                Muhammad Ali - pull counter

                Floyd Mayweather - pull counter

                What do you think?
Canelo didnt fall for it. Although Canelo fell for allot that night, anytime Floyd threw the pull, Canelo avoided it. I think Floyd tried it maybe 4 times that night.

Everybody will learn at their own pace. The positive of it all is that he is watching, learning and appreciating the art of it. No harm in trying.

There are ancient carvings that prove that cavemen actually performed the same feint, with the exception of using clubs

I was never even aware that Floyd claimed he was the one who invented it.
