he better land the right hand when he falls in otherwise he'll be a sitting duck for pacquiao to jump on as he recovers his balance, pacquiao isn't gonna be there to follow up on, and he wont give his back to floyd as he like mayweather likes to move to his power hand

Pacquiao isn't a good inside fighter, so leaning in and working him up close is simply an addition to some of the other things Mayweather can apply. Utilizing his reach is all good and well but you also risk giving Pacquiao momentum coming forward. I don't understand the bold at all, everyone as of late has been able to get Pacquiao in the pocket for a good sustained amount, some of them just weren't quick enough to get off, especially not in the same manner Mayweather could. definitely a better inside fighter than given credit for, definitely a better inside fighter than floyd, but maybe mayweather can break him by walking through his shots like a prime mayweather used to do with southpaws, outbrawl them

rios, margarito and bradley are all decent enough inside fighters, and majority of the time they got inside when pacquiao wasn't taking his breather(which consists of a clinch) they were beaten on the inside

floyd doesn't really beat anyone with a clue on inside fighting in the inside, was beaten by guerrero in the few moments inside, beaten by maidana, and we all know the troubles he's had with other inside fighters, all he's good at is defending on the ropes
