C'mon you had to have noticed the changes in Pacquiao style over the years.

He is a much more technical fighter these days.

Roach has to keep him in check, and not to give Floyd free shots by being reckless and gun ho.



Pacquiao is a very fast starter and Floyd is a very slow starter.

In all of Floyd's opponent Floyd has been the fitter guy, and you see his opponents work rate drop, as well as there hands.

This time Pacquiao is the fitter guy, and he fights hard for 12 rounds.

Trust me, the first 6 rounds Pacquiao will come out with a lot of energy and movement, Floyd will just look to slow him down, crowd his work and hold.

The ref will be very important, because if he lets Floyd get away with this, Pacquiao it will favour Floyd, as he is sapping his energy, making him frustrated and making the round close because there will be hardly no clean punches landed by either man.

Whether he can tire Pacquiao enough, to come on in the latter round is up for debate.

Any genuine Floyd fan knows to never get worried the first 4 rounds of a fight. Even when Floyd gets tagged (See:Mosley-Mayweather) he is downloading everything into his boxing database. Hand speed, foot speed, reach, distance, what traps work and what don't. He is is putting that all into his database and by the 5th round he is dominating.
