No. According to sources with knowledge of the contract, it stipulates that everyone involved must appear at only two news conferences. One to kick off the promotion will take place in mid-March; Pacquiao is expected to come to the United States from the Philippines around March 9. No site for that one has been set but it almost certainly will be in New York or Los Angeles. There will also be the standard final news conference during fight week at the MGM Grand.

Manny Pacquiao will leave for the United States tomorrow, February 28, instead of March 8, which is the original departure plan of his camp. Pacquiao aims to begin his training early with Freddie Roach at the Wildcard gym in Los Angeles, California for his mega fight against unbeaten American Floyd Mayweather Jr. on May 2.
“We are just going to wait there for coach Freddie [Roach] in Los Angeles. We only have two months or eight weeks to prepare that’s why we cannot afford to waste time,” Pacquiao told The Manila Times in an interview on Wednesday at the Araneta Coliseum after Pacman’s team KIA posted a win over Talk ‘N Text in the Philippine Basketball Association Commissioners Cup.
“Although there are still two months left before the fight night comes, I decided two weeks ago to train as early as I could in General Santos,” Pacquiao added.
“Kailangan na nasa maayos na kundisyon na tayo as of now [I need to be in fighting condition immediately].”
Pacquiao said that he might still play for KIA when the team face Blackwater on Saturday before leaving the country in the evening.
“I’m still thinking if I will play for only few minutes but I will try to be there to coach the team. I know what I’m doing that’s why I’m not going to suffer any injury,” said Pacquiao when asked if he is not bothered by the possibility of being injured while playing basketball.
Pacquiao, the current World Boxing Organization welterweight champion said that he expects a tough bout from Mayweather, the World Boxing Council and Super World Boxing Association welterweight champion.
“We should give both our very best when we fight on May 2. I’m expecting Floyd to come out so strong and wise that’s why I must prepare my best too. Tingnan natin basta galingan na lang naming dalawa [just watch us give our best],” Pacquiao said.
“I have no idea so far if he’s going to attack or run, but I will be ready for those strategies because Mayweather is absolutely a great boxer. ”
Assistant trainers Buboy Fernandez and Nonoy Neri will initially facilitate Pacquiao’s US training from March 1 to 8 because Roach is still in Macau training his Chinese pupil Zou Shiming. Zou is scheduled to fight International Boxing Federation flyweight champion Amnat Ruenroeng of Thailand on March 7 at the Cotai Arena in Macau.

The MGM resorts host bigger ones. I messed around last time and waited too long to get tickets to one of them. I would imagine they're a lot better. Food, beer, and I think they set up blackjack tables and stuff, too.
