I can remember back in the days of the poker boom when "Jesus" Ferguson set out to prove that he could start off with a $0 bankroll and build it up to (idk whatever) over the course of a year. He started playing free roll tourneys that offered a grand prize of like $5 and from there was playing $.10 multi tables obviously placed in a few and continued from there. When it was all said and done I think he had close to 20k at the end of the year. He chalked it up to skill (obviously) and more importantly bank roll management. I forget what percentage of your bankroll you should be risking on a given but it's an extremely low amount because the odds of you winning/placing aren't so great. But whatever I always thought that was an interesting thing... I questioned many times before if it really was a game of skill after getting my ass handed to me by donkeys (the terms are all coming back to me) but guys like him have proven it time and time again.

Nice avoidance, but that just proves my point, how will his rehab go well if he doesn't go to see the doctor to determine how his "injury" is healing and set up an appropriate rehab. It's ok tho, I dont expect you to grasp things like reality, truth and common sense with your simple mind unless there's a YouTube video to explain it to you with lots of images of your false god Pacquiao just to keep you interested.

There a competent doctors and facilities in his own country. He just need a good sports physical therapist to rehab it. Simple really. Healing needs to be done at home were he lives (Philippines). Surgery is over, surgeon just wants a follow up checkup, but yes it would be better if he shows up to be sure it's recovering the way the surgeon wants to be in, so he can assess if it's on track to full recovery by the end of the year.

Reading this is sounds like a ****tier job than being a janitor.

I would imagine trying to do it professionally would be the most stressful, disgusting job on the planet. Especially now that it's so hard to play online (In the US). Card rooms are ******. And from a mental standpoint, the variance involved in poker is enough to drive a person insane. Having to play through the downswings, while implementing proper bankroll management is tough. Bankroll management is tough anyway. It's especially tough when it feels like you're never going to have a winning session again.

Then you get into having "backers" who stake you. End up owing money, etc. Every other week you hear about one of these poker players scamming people out of thousands of dollars. It's insane.
