LMAO..............the true GOAT's never got cleaned up with a single shot.......Khan has had that happen twice.
I hope he and Brook have a hold-fest and see who's neck is the sorest the next day from the other guy pushing down on it......
Khan was far more interesting when he thought he was the **** vs Maidana and Petersen. Now he's just plain BORING.........
No fighte fighting today is anywhere near the GOAT status........Robinson would have wrecked Floyd, Manny, Khan, all of them. Comparatively these guys are very small WW when you get to the real best of that weight class...........GOAT and ATG are thrown around way too often. Active fighters there are maybe 4-5 ATG..........and by that I mean fitting somewhere in the top 100. And all but one are a fight or two away from being done.
There are some potentially great fighters.........but they too rarely get the chance to prove it.

5 years ago I think Floyd easily outboxes him in a much more convincing fashion than Marquez and get hit much less..........easy fight five years ago.
Today? Based on the first and second Maidana fights, I believe Manny has some chance to win.......IF he maintains a high workrate. But if he lets Mayweather control space and keep his distance, it will be a long frustrating fight.
Oscar and Mosely both said Pacquiao's power is not overwhelming. Just surprising because of the speed. If he's able to land enough hard shots around the top of the head and temple and rocks Floyd the way Mosley did, that's his best chance.
But every time Floyd has remotely been hurt, he nuts up, moves forward, and breaks the opponents confidence quite quickly with precision punching all while staying elusive......something Manny has NEVER had to deal with..........
I think the fight is still interesting. Would have been a better statement five years ago. Better fight? Not so sure about that.......

Khan makes me so sad, he wants to consider himself a great with wins against b and c level opposition in his last 4 fights, by calling out 2 of the greats thinking he's on their level and saying he should be in the ring with the best. Yet when he talks about the 2 greats fighting one another all of a sudden they are past their peak years, getting old, slowing down ect. I feel bad for him, hes stuck in a very deep dark place. I want what he's on..

Very rarely is a proposed fight better when both fighters are older. Then again, the new trend in sports seems to be that 40 is the new 30. Even if that's the case, this fight has been long over due.

I agree with Khan eventhough I want PacMan to win, he's just not what he used to be and that favors Floyd. Which is why this fight took so long to get made.
Pac needs to be the killer he used to be aginst Cotto,Marg,Hatton,DeLaHoya and he's just not the same fighter. He boxes more and that falls into Floyds hands.
4/5 yrs ago when this fight should have been made I would have favored Manny, but like I've always said Floyd is a stretegic matchmaker and he doesn't take fights he feels there;s a chance he loses.
I hate to say it but I think this is gonna be a boring fight that will not live up to the hype. Kenny Bayless is supposedly the ref, so anytime Manny gets close Floyd will hold with an immediate break and will not get warned.
Manny needs to be that killer that he used to be and he's not that fighter anymore. Also, he's in a no win situation because there is no way he wins a decision in Vegas, he'll have to knock him out and I don't see that happening.
Also, if this fight is somehow close and Pac gets a close decision, everyone will scream robbery. I hope I'm worng but I see this as another snooze fest that won't live up to the hype.
