If you guys think that's too long, could I be that coddled and entitled please?
then if floyd says no pac, cotto wasnt going to fight canelo either...
canelo wanted to get confirmation from cotto regardless of the other fight, not a contract signed but an agreement and then work from that...

We all know who needs that fight for legacy AND money, Cotto's career is set without either one of those. Just because Canelo is desperate doesn't mean Cotto should be lol.

Canelo is in his mid 20's and is making millions for each fight. He is hardly desperate. Neutral people who have followed this know it was Cotto who stopped this from happening. Maybe it can happen sometime later. But if Cotto ends up fighting a welterweight for the middleweight title, it isn't going to look very good for his "legacy".

Originally posted by Beater_of_ass View PostCotto wants the fight, he isn't desperate for it. He's desperate for the Mayweather fight. Canelo is desperate to make people forget it and just remember the ass kicking he's going to get from Cotto. At which point we'll find out Canelo actually had string cheese for tendons in his ankle from his fans.

Only on boxingscene... If Manny got up and left the room while Floyd was talking it'd be like Manny fans blaming Floyd. That's literally what you guys are arguing right now. And why did he leave? Because Cotto said let's let see how things play out.
