Exactly. People just love to twist team pacquiaos words to fit their agenda. Manny trains year round in basketball, that's why he doesn't need longer than 8 weeks for this fight. Roach even said he can only spar 6 weeks because of pacquiaos intensity, any longer and he burns himself out. Mannys going to come in the fight in perfect shape as usual. Unless Floyd has been using peds and plans to knock Manny out, he doesn't stand a chance against the little phillipino. Morales is the only one to ever win a fair decision against pacquiao. Pacquiao has become a much better fighter since then. The only chance Floyd has is a punchers chance.

And when you get KTFO don't go begging Marquez for a rematch, you got the result you wanted according to this statement.

roach i'd suggest worrying about your fighter who tried everything he knew how to do with bradley but nothing really worked until bradley laid on the ropes for no apparent reason in the 6th and 7th rounds

manny would have lost 5 6 7 and 8, 4 in a row on my card if not for that..and there is nothing about round 9 that says manny won it either...bradley outlanded him 20-15 in slomo

boxing does not live on knockouts alone..sweet science is wat floyd's fans like..the love his ability to be the one and only that can do the things he does..If u make him and any opponent the same size he beats them..PERIOD..his skill set in boxing is matched by non..no ali no sugar, no nobody.

Roach is basically saying that they need an 8 week training camp for the biggest fight of the last 30 years, but they may be able to make due with a shorter training camp. As for some of you guys saying that roach is just covering for Manny,in case he gets knocked out by mayweather, what are you guys smoking? He's saying that by taking risks in a fight, and making it more exciting, you run the risk of getting caught, and getting ko'ed. Just like when you're driving,if you drive faster, there's always the risk that you'll crash. But does that mean that Floyd will KO Manny? Hells no,the last opponent that Floyd ko'ed was years ago,and he literally had to have his hands down, and it took Floyd 2 punches to sit him down. Its funny,on this forum, boxers like rigo and Lara get **** on daily, and are labeled runners because they apply the sweet science. But when it comes to boxers like Floyd and ward, who clinch and elbow, more than box itself, you guys get your panties all wet. How will the fight play out? Floyd going to try to pot shot manny, trying to steal rounds at the end,but it just won't fly, because Pacquiao is going to outwork him,and outland him every round. Floyd can't get away with landing 2-3 punches per round and calling it a night, because this time,he won't be in there with some c ranked fighter. He's in there with the 2nd best in the world, and if the judges had to choose between Manny's aggressive fan friendly style, and Floyds boring safety first style,I'm willing to bet anything that they'll go with Manny. Alright Floyd fans, bring the hate.
get over it manny just in off balance and it was not aggressive he was about to throw that **** jab that he has and he got put to sleep...if a jab is aggressive lara surely beat canelo...900k ppv to 300k ppv...who is really boring? banished to china still running vegas...who is really boring?

If manny did just enough to "win" I wouldn't be his fan. I'm not a boxing fan for the financial end of the boxer or how many times he doesn't get hit or hit record, I'm a fan for the entertainment and for the output they give. If a fighter puts out 100% effort in a fight but loses, I'm his fan

If a fighter barely does enough to win on points and doesn't even try to wow me or finish off his opponent, fugg him and his sorry ass plan...
Exactly. most of the greats since I've been a fan, SRR, Hearns, Roy Jones, JCC, and Pac went for ko. They djdnt always get it, but they presed the actionm Sweat Pea didn't get a lot of ko's and was .ore defensive , but was still more exciting to watch than floyd.
