    Arum doesn't have to promote cotto's fight... you know that right? ODH can do all that promotion if he wants to... has the experience for it... Also, didn't canelo recently come out and said that they would have NO PROBLEM in negotiating a fight with cotto after kirkland? So it doesn't seem like ODH and canelo are mad at cotto... YA FANS are the ones salty...

        He doesn't have to but he was. Now answer me. What did Arum have to gain by lying? People usually lie to gain something from it. What did Arum gain by (according to you) lying about what he says Cotto told him and why the fight didn't go thru?

          Canelo has the temper of a female. He felt rejected by the Taino God. I know that peasant self esteem better than anyone and Canelo was wrestling with the SAME peasant complex, that Chavez Sr suffered when he referred to his opponent as "creido" or "arrogant.." Humility is a BIG part of being a peasant and so the peasant rages against ANYONE with an ounce of confidence. Cotto exudes that quiet ****y that burns a hole in the heart of peasants.

          Deal with it. Suffer... Btch to the local papers about it and remain....B side.

              Arum lies even if it doesn't gain him something. Thats just the way he is. Hate to break it to ya, but even his own son is like wtf is this guy doing always talking to the media.

                You are getting caught up in minutiae when in reality its farily easy to understand what happened.

                  Thats exactly what he is doing. Who would you rather fight? The undefeated fighter, or the fighter that got defeat by him 12-0 shutout? Its something called common sense... now if the floyd-pac fight gets made, canelo will not fight on his precious cinco de mayo weekend like he wanted to... If that happened, cotto-canelo in june in msg... oh wait canelo still wants to fight in may. So canelo got up, walked away from negotiations. Its just not that hard to understand. Hell fight in may if its floyd, june for anybody else (would have been canelo, but he walked away)
