How confident are you in Ward's ability to stand up to 12 rounds of power from GGG?

As for your other post, I see some pretty big assumptions there:

    1) that GGG can't fight on the inside.

    2) that GGG's power doesn't carry up to whatever weight they will fight at.

    3) that Ward can bully GGG on the inside.

If Ward beats GGG, it will be by outboxing him, not by "taking the fight to him" imo.
He wouldn't have to "take the fight to him" per se in order to bully him on the inside. You have no clue who is stronger.

      1. Didn't say GGG couldn't fight on the inside. I asked how would he handle someone that could fight so well on the inside in Ward.

      2. I never said anything about GGG's power not carrying up. Why do people assume that Ward is like paper mache and will just fold off of every shot. As if he won't be punching back.

      3. Ward has bullied bigger fighters on the inside. He has shown he can, not saying he will to Golovkin but he has shown he has the ability to do it. Can you point me to a fight of GGG's that shows how good he is on the inside?

Also, the only time i've heard of Ward overpricing himself is the money he feels he deserves for his tune ups. Should this fight happen there will be enough to satisfy both fighters.

Very confident. Assuming he's the same guy as last time I saw him, he'll be able to take what shots land and avoid most.

If I could point to a fight where he beats someone as good as Ward on the inside, I would be picking GGG to win. I just pointed out that there are enough unknown variables for me not to be confident in Ward winning.

Another big assumption (not from you but from GGG detractors in general) is that what we have seen from GGG is the full extent of his ability and that he wouldn't respond well to a serious challenge.

As for the financial side of things... If Ward wants big money for tune-ups, how much do you think he would want for a GGG fight? I hope I'm wrong but I can see Ward pricing himself out.

It's almost as if people think GGG has no skill.

I honestly think it will be a great fight should it happen. While I don't think we've seen the best of GGG there are still areas where I still don't know because I have yet to see him do certain things. I wish guys in his division would quit freaking ducking him so we can see him up against the best in his division before a fight with Ward plays out. I don't think there is anyone at 160 that can beat him though.

Totally. GGG wins another belt or two at 160 and maybe one at 168 while Wards adds some good wins in the meantime, and we are looking at a superfight. Winner is P4P #1.

Or that Golovkins skillset doesn't match up well with Wards.

GGG has not fought anybody with Ward's skill and IQ.

Abraham cruises through G's resume with ease.
Well, Lajuan Simon nullifies that argument.

                      Disrespectful.......

I think you are disrespectful. A better question would be, I wonder if GGG can handle a fighter with Ward's IQ, skill, and defense. How old are you? Ward is almost a HOF'ner for what he did in the Super 6. He is naturally bigger than GGG. He is much faster, also. He is a thinking mans fighter. GGG is the real deal but he is still unproven. Ward is not unproven. We know what he is going to do every time out, no matter the opponent. He is also mean and tough as hell. I think he is going to beat GGG up, like never before. His inside skill is NO JOKE. You better go and do some homework, before you throw out arrogant disrespect, man.
