Comments Thread For: Dillian Whyte: I'd Love To KO Anthony Joshua in The Pros

Heavyweight prospect Dillian “The Villain” Whyte (13-0, 10 KOs) scored three knockdowns to put away Marcelo Luiz Nascimento (17-8, 15 KOs) in the second round of their contest from the Camden Centre in London.

Whyte defeated hot heavyweight prospect Anthony Joshua when the two of them were amateur fighters. Joshua would later move forward to win a gold medal at the London 2012 Olympic games and turned pro with Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Sport.

Whyte boxed three times in the space of a month after serving a two-year ring ban due to testing positive for a banned substance.

Joshua has progressed better. Better technique and more polished.

he threw a couple nice left hooks on nascimento. then finished him with a solid straight right. that was some good work yesterday. Britain has a pretty good HW scene both at world level & domestic...

Joshua wins that fight. I think he is the best HW in Britain right now.

When's the BBBofC going to force John McDermott to defend the English H/W title?

Whyte is certainly more naturally talented than Joshua.

                i disagree.

I can't see how Whyte should win that fight vs Joshua at the moment. He's talking about Joshua not fighting anyone, Whyte's opponents are far far worse. Only 6 out of 13 had winning records, and won was like 10-9-1. Hardly the stuff of dreams.

I like Whyte though, he's a badass. I'd just like to see him step up and work on his game a little more. Right now, I see Joshua beating him handily.

Dillian Whyte seems to be the real article and I think beats Anthony Joshua now or in the future he seems more real, Anthony Joshua comes across to fake and manufactured.

Anthony Joshua has only fought boxers that are at the tail end of their careers or journeymen. The average age of his opponents is over 40 and five fights ago he was still fighting guys ranked 550+
Anthony Joshua has never fought a top 60 ranked opponent yet he's no 8 in the WBC rankings !!!
