Ward needs TWO tune up fights,so thats one in early 2015,and one in late 2015. By 2016,if hes done fighting his cab drivers, golovkin will have unified his division by then, and would have no problem taking sog to school at 168. Sog has nothing for golovkin in terms of power, and golovkin eats him alive on the inside game. i promise you that its going to be an a clinchfest,or a track meet,as soon as golovkin touches ward.
Your doing what most do...just assuming and making up a bunch of BS, Ward is not going to fight "2 Warm Up Fights" but I would have no problem with him getting 1 Warm Up Fight...Why Not? Check his track Record, Ward spent the last 3 Years of his career fighting the very best in his Division with no excuses.

Who said that once you reach the top of your Division and clean it out you should move up? Fighters move up when they outgrow a Division Physically and can't make weight at that Division anymore for the most part.

I'm not trying to rush GGG up in weight just like I don't think Ward should just move up in weight for the hell of it. It is Complete Option for BOTH...but I do like to poke and point out the BS from some fans on this FORUM and how they set this Hilariously Bias Double Standards based on fighters who they like Personally.

As for their style match up in the ring...I've seen Ward vs many of styles including guys with Vicious Power, GGG brings NOTHING that he hasn't seen before, NOTHING! That being said I do know for a FACT that GGG haven't faced anybody even CLOSE to Ward's Level!

I don't think Ward fans are getting defensive. I'm not even a Ward fan but I want to see him fight Golovkin before he fights Kovalev. Moving up in weight now means that we don't get Golovkin-Ward and to me it seems that's what some Golovkin fans are hoping for...

All of a sudden when Ward's name gets mentioned, his fans start getting very defensive about him moving up.
They said it a few times but stopped as soon as Ward said he was interested.

They should just be honest about it. Ward in his first fight at 168 would be madness for Golovkin. There isn't a top fighter active today who moved up a division and fought arguably the best fighter alive in their first bout at the weight.

So you're talking out of your bootyhole, Ward has no one left and Kovalev and Stevenson will bring him much better money than Froch or Groves and u know it, but you also know Kovalev splatters Ward which is why you have your hypocritical stance on this issue.
You want Miguel Cotto, who has never weighed above 155 lbs. in his entire career and has been shot since his welterweight fights with Plasterito and Pacquiao according to 95% of Boxing Scene, to fight Golovkin at 160 lbs.

You want Canelo, who has never weighed above 155 lbs. in his entire career to fight Golovkin at 160 lbs.

You want Mayweather, who has never weighed more than 151 lbs. in his entire career to fight Golovkin at 160 lbs.

You want Ward to vacate his 168 lb. lineal championship to move to 175 lbs.

Golovkin? You ignore that he agreed to move to 168 for Chavez Jr. and Froch. You want him to stay at 160 lbs. to feast on WWs, JMWs, Andy Lee, and David Lemeiux.

          Hypocrisy. ******ation. Delusion. Fear.

He only started taking it back recently, perhaps after his layoff cost him some confidence.

In "early 2015" Ward was supposed to be conquering Wladimir Klitschko:

Obviously he's had a dramatic change of heart and now wants to fight middleweights.
Well obviously he's talking **** but he did say that he won't be 168 forever, however he is right now and comfortable doing so. He will move up later on when he can't make 168 but that time is not right now.

Ward vs Ggg would be ideal coming back. I doubt Ward is the type of fighter that can get ring rust. Dude's a gold medalist and dominated a tournament full of talented monsters. If anything some ring rust would make the Ggg fight that much more competitive.

I would like to see Ward/DeGale @168, assuming DeGale wins his next fight.

Same here. Or Andre Dirrell if he were to beat DeGale.
