                    Are you guys pretending to be ******ed because it suits your agenda?

                    They draft contracts and agree on the particulars before signing the real thing.

                    What they meant by "sign the contract" was that they've agreed on the details and want to get it all over with and come to an agreement.

                    Read between the lines and stop taking everything so literally, calm down.
