Ward fought Pudwill five years ago, sparking him out in three rounds. Golovkin fought Adama 12 months ago, and that fight went seven rounds. How you can argue that both situations are even remotely the same is beyond me.

Golovkin has been feeding off of trash, with HBO selling it like its fillet mignon, yet you want to talk down about Ward's opposition? lol

Golovkin hasn't even fought an opponent as good as Allan Green yet.

Bull****. Green has never been top 10 ranked anywhere, never beaten a top 10 fighter. GGG is about to fight his 6th top tenner in 2.5 years.

I say GGG moves up to fight him like a man (which Ward isnt) once he gets the lineal title and recognition (they come togther) by the casuals to be the best MW.
this moment is close , Cotto will need to defend or vacate soon enough , and then i will say GGG should move up and fight ward cuz Quillin/Lee fight is less compeling to me.
Golovkin is supposed to be the guy who is expected to run roughshod over every fighter 154-168. What's wrong with having him prove it?

Team Golovkin talks of everyone ducking Golovkin, so Andre Ward put his hand up. funny how quiet that made everyone.

If Andre Ward was running around, harping about how he would whoop every fighter 160-175, there might be some basis to the critique. He hasn't.

What does "put his hand up" mean? A-siders don't put their hands up, they make offers. Ward actually told GGG to make an offer lol. And said he could beat Klitschko, that *****s 160-175 a little, no?

Put stock into whatever you want to put stock into, when put into the ring with someone who wants to fight, Ward puts on exciting, though clinical, fights.

That can be a significant part of his inside game but he can fight on the inside properly also ie without holding and hitting. I enjoy watching Ward in the same way I enjoy watching Floyd, I enjoy and am hugely impressed with the technical prowess for about 6 rounds or so and then I get a bit bored as it gets a bit same old same old with no stoppage in sight.

Ward fought at light heavyweight so that Team USA could send both he and Andre Dirrell, two fighters with medal-level ability, to the Olympics. Ward walked into the gold medal match nearly 5 pounds under the limit. His pro debut was at 160 pounds for all heck.

                    It's not about pop.
                    It's about DEFENSE

                    When will ya'll ever learn.??????

When you see a running back that doesn't tuck the ball you KNOW one day he's gonna get stripped or fumble.

When you see a fighter that pulls back with his hands down you KNOW he's going to get KTFO.

Golovkin drops both hands and pulls straight back......not good
Ward would be all over that.

If Adama had any power GGG would be in our thoughts and prayers.

Kelly Pavlik didn't let people like that touch him.

Look how Geale beat him to the punch.
If Geale were a puncher GGG would have got sparkled instead.

Ward is foaming at the mouth for this guy.

If those guys can expose flaws IMAGINE what Ward will find.

The gap between Andre and those zombies and jr middles he's been feasting on is far too great for a guy that drops his punches to his balls.

Power is nice to have but skills pay bills.
I always get a good chuckle for the day when I read your posts Dr. Pep, funny.
