I can bat down this nonsense so easily. Your post is misdirection. What he means is HE felt everything was fine. Then he DISCOVERS that the other side apparently STILL HAS issues.

That does not make him a liar, not that I think Arum is always telling the truth but I do believe he wants the fight to happen.

Ive said a couple other times, its plausible that Arum is telling the truth and Mayweather is stalling but I cant give him the benefit of the doubt.

No one knows anything really at this point- pretty much every boxing writer has admitted to as much since the HBO statements.

Like I said, that all makes sense and its more than plausible that Mayweather is doing what you said.

I just dont believe Arum though after he's been caught lying and Koncz himself has point blank admitting to lying and now is keeping his mouth shut, which is what is wise for everyone. Enough talking to the public/media, no one buys your BS, just get the fight done. No matter what you say or do, everyone in one way or another if this fight doesn't get made is going to look bad.

I don't think they were lying. There is and was a contract. Koncz was bending over backwards to please mayweather saying there was not a contract. There is and is not a contract. There is one in the sense that they keep going back to Floyd's lawyers who keep sending back more stipulations. There is not one in the sense that there is no final contract agreed upon by both sides. Koncz clearly did that as an appeasement to Floyd. There really were no lies on his end at all. Floyd / Showtime need to agree to and sign a contract. By saying there was no contract he was just trying to show good faith to Floyd and what did it get him? Nothing. Typical Floyd BS

You realize Arum, Koncz, and Pacquiao have been caught lying and Koncz already admitted to lying and thrown Arum under the bus? HBO's statement itself is full of holes. Its one thing to speak out but if youre not being truthful whats the point.

Ok a couple of questions for those still determined to blame Arum.


1. If Arum is the reason the fight isnt happening, why cant someone from Floyd/Showtime or anyone at all say what the issues are ? If he's stopping the fight then he must be doing something or not agreeing to something to do that ? Why is it just non-specific lines like there's a lot to be done still etc ??


2. If we assume for a moment that it is in fact Floyd holding up the fight. Lets say everythings basically sorted for both a Pac and Cotto fight and Floyd is just taking his time to decide. Does anyone actually think, that showtime or anyone on Floyds side is going to come out and say that ?
