What fairness is due Floyd? Floyd made the announcement that he is ready to fight the Pacman, and he wants it to be May 2 (he did not mention the year). The boxing world including the Pacman's camp were overjoyed upon hearing this announcement from Floyd Mayweather Jr. His camp (Mayweather) made their demands known to Manny Pacquiao and his group. Manny Pacquiao immediately agreed to all these requirements and made it clear to everybody that he will be easy to all of these demands just to make the fight happen on the date that Floyd Mayweather Jr. announced. Since all his requirements were met, Floyd does not have anything more to argue...unless he does not have the intention of meeting the Pacman in the ring.

Yes let's be fair to Arum and team Manny also, i am no Arum supporter but i think they are just too eager in trying to make the fight happen... It was Floyd who announnced it first that he will try to make the Manny fight, so Arum and team Manny jumped on it... So when Floyd's people talked to Arum and Manny about the many terms, Arum and Manny agreed to all of the terms that Floyd wanted thinking that Floyd will automatically say yes right away since Manny agreed to each and every terms that Floyd himself set... It's as simple as fighter A and fighter B agreed on common terms, then let's sign the contract and fight... Thus i can understand the "sign the contract" verbal taunts from Arum and team Manny, maybe there is no actual physical contracts signed yet, but that is the next step that you will do after an agreement was already set on both camps...

Except... it wasn't. At the very least, it is a documented fact that Koncz approached Floyd to suggest the half time meeting. You're making some big assumptions (believing Floyd-sources) to suggest the reason Floyd went to the game was because he knew Pacquiao would be there.

Screw Floyd mayweather. Kontz pacquiao and arum never said there was a contract, they said they were waiting on a signed contract from Floyd and they had agreed to the terms. Bug difference. Floyd deserves every but of hate and duck bashing he gets. He needs to know his legacy and his ppv crown are going to be severely affected if he backs out of this fight which I suspect he will. ShowTime needs to understand they are going to lose tens of millions of dollars if they put mayweather vs. Cotto.nobody will tune in. Anything other than mayweather pacquiao and there is going to be a huge #floydcott #sign the contract

There were no negotiations when he mentioned the outdoor stadium, and pacquiao had agreed to random blood and urine 24 days from the fight and immediately after and Floyd walked away. In fact Floyd has walked away from other rounds of negotiations lots of times. One time Floyd and golden boy even tried to say top rank was lying about there being negotiations yet Ross greenburg from HBO confirmed he was the go between in the negotiations. Floyds made a ridiculous 40 million dollar offer to pacquiao a couple years back and Manny countered with a reasonable 50/50 offer which Floyd backed away from. Mayweather even told bob costas that Michael kontz even went to Vegas to try to negotiate a deal, but mayweather was sticking with the 40 million and wasn't willing to give up any ppv revenue. Also how come he refused to work with arum all those years and now he will? Back in 09 he was willing too yet he used that excuse all those years and you fan boys backed him up. Seems like this round arum and co. Are really trying to make this fight and mayweather and co. Are really downplaying it and dint seem interested. That leads me to believe Floyd mayweather isn't even planning to fight pacquiao.

Sources who are close to the negotiations have said that Floyd instructed ShowTime to price themselves out of the fight by demanding a very lopsided split in their favor over HBO, thereby deflecting any blame of the fight not happening off of Floyd and on to the networks. Floyd has planned to fight cotto this whole time and its clear as day. I support arums campaign to duck shame Floyd duckweather, because the more he does the harder it will be for Floyd to back out without there being huge outrage among the fans.
