    From link:
CBS honcho Les Moonves says he's "hoping" Floyd Mayweather signs the contract to fight Manny Pacquiao ... telling TMZ Sports it would make "a lot of money for everybody."

Of course, CBS owns Showtime -- and Moonves has reportedly been working hard with both Manny's camp and Floyd's camp to lock up a deal for the network.

FYI -- experts predict the fight would CRUSH every financial record in the history of the sport ... including the all-time pay-per-view record of $150 million, which was set during the Mayweather-Alvarez fight in 2013.

Moonves also shot down rumors that he threatened to fire the head of Showtime Sports if the fight doesn't come to fruition.

So where do things stand? Manny says he's signed his side of the contract and is giving Mayweather until the end of the month to sign his ... or else he'll move.
Moonves never mentioned sign the contract in that interview. He only said I hope they get it done there is enough money in it for everybody. TMZ lied and said that he stated that to get there interview more hits which it did.

Agreed, good post. There PPV stats clearly show that Pacquiao deserves the 40% he Is asking for.

Mayweather is gonna pick Cotto. He's saving Pacquiao for his last fight in September. Lowest risk for him, while maximizing his earnings.

Well maximizing earnings is not true... since if the fight is close with PAC, a rematch can generate the same or more revenue.

well consider this last 3 ppvs for manny equal 1.5 million..floys last 3 equaal 4 million
btw floyd cos like 20 more right?
using the method 4 divided by 1.5...equals 2.6..mean the split based off this could be 74/26

now that is real math no favoritism

If Floyd said Pac should get nothing, you can bet your ass Floyd worshipers would agree with it.

                  Pacs ppv numbers: 300k
                  Cottos ppv number: 350k

                  are we missing something here?
-Cotto, if the talks for a second fight happens, will likely take a 80/20 split.

-Pacquiao, if the fight even happens, seems to think that he's giving ground at 60/40.

ignore the disconnect if you want.

It's actually quite simple... If Manny accepted an 80-20 split or $40 mil flat... he already makes $23 mil per fight...

He'd be making 17 mil more for the biggest fight in the history of boxing...

Floyd making even 60-40 makes $150 mil..

Floyd makes $31 mil per fight

Manny can make 80-20 or $40 in two fights without Floyd...

How many fights does Floyd need to make to make $150 mil at $31 mil per fight? There is no Canelo out there anymore for Floyd...

FIomos don't want understand how it just doesn't make any sense for Manny's side..they just want to focus on defending Floyd..

There you go. TBE is scared **** of Pacquiao.

This disgusting boring, fake retiring roider doesn't even deserve 10.

Pac fans need to deluge the internet with emails and tweets and tell the Pac camp not to accept this. This TBE guy needs to be learned a lesson. Pac is a global superstar and this fight is global. 3 quarters of the world don't even know who this TBE guy is.

Arum needs to make the Khan fight happen ASAP.
