I wanna see him defend that title against Fury, who deserves a shot.

After that, there's no one worth fighting except Haye and Klitschko.

Boxing isn't for hardcore boxing fans anymore who know that Wilder is a paper titlist at best. It's for the casuals who don't know any better. The ones who will call Wilder champion of the world even though he isn't.

There's no need for Wilder to fight Wlad. All he has to do it keeping fighting bums and wait for Wlad to either retire or lose and he'll be crowned the undisputed champion of the world.

I think one solution to this problem is for journalist to call it how it is and stop referring Wilder as champion but titlist in a division ruled by the world champion Wlad. This goes for every single incident where this is the case.

I wouldn't mind him seeing him fight Povetkin or Wach. Maybe even Takam if he can come back or Mike Perez if he can.

So people think Wilder is a paper champ and a hype job but they think the lineal heavyweight champion of the world should defend against him? can't have it both ways.

I think Wladimir should fight him, not because he is the best or most deserving opponent, but because he has a belt that doesn't belong to him.

And they will fight eventually. Klitschko isn't going anywhere anytime soon, he has no desire to retire. He'll fight Jennings and probably Shannon Briggs. In the meantime Wilder can fight probably an easy one, then Tyson Fury. This will build the fight tremendously, think about it Klitschko's next fight is on New York on HBO, his fight after that will also be on HBO (and if its against Briggs probably in America again). Meanwhile Wilder will get lots of attention himself, we already saw 1.3 million viewers on Showtime in his last fight. That will grow especially against the likes of Tyson Fury. Why would anyone oppose this plan and demand the fight happens now when a). Wilder isn't ready yet and b). the fight isn't nearly as big as it would be of they both fight a couple more times. Makes zero sense to fight now, from BOTH sides.

Wilder is 30 years old with over 33 fights under his belt. Why are they coddling him?
