I warn you: Don't be surprised if Stevenson beats them. He isn't that bad as you want to see him. I would give him the edge against Beterbiev and against Kovalev I think he would not be a no hoper underdog. It's a 55-45 in favor of Kovalev.
Okay, as long as you aren't surprised if Stevenson gets his head taken off.

Honestly, Stevenson is going to lose before he ever faces either one of them.

I won't because either of those guys can crack but it's so strange when some people implying that Stevenson would be a no hoper underdog against those guys. Be real and objective, don't let the hatred toward Stevenson blind you! (This is not certainly for you). I mean he's the Ring ****zine #1 with a cause, he is definitely not a bum or a fringe contender. He's beat every of his opponents convincingly, Fonfara knocked him down... So? Stevenson won that fight with a relatively wide UD. His resume aren't any weaker than Kovalev's. Since they are champions, including the fight when they got the belt:
Stevenson - Dawson, Cloud, Bellew, Fonfara, Shukotsky. Best win: Dawson
Kovalev - Cleverley, Shillakh, Agnew, Campillo, B-Hop. Best win: B-Hop
So Kovalev's resume aren't that better to be honets. If he beats Pascal it will be better than Steveson's.

And why you say that Stevenson will lose before Kovalev or Beterbiev? Who do you think would beat Stevenson right now in his weightclass out of Kovalev and maybe Beterbiev?

I don't think Beterbiev is anywhere near ready to beat Stevenson. Artur's people shouldn't push for that fight yet.

I think he's more than ready. Pascal thinks highly of the guy. If anything, Artur really isn't going to improve at all with those crappy trainers in Quebec. It's a moot point as Aducknis will never fight Artur anyway.

I'll laugh my ass off if Stevenson never fights Kovalev and gets knocked out by some bum of the month club. The Stevenson Defense Force will cry like five year old ****s.

Well think about it...Stevenson is an Al Haymon fighter, Kovalev is an exclusive HBO fighter and Al Haymon fighters don't fight on HBO. They won't fight.

Beterbiev is high risk/low reward, and by the time he becomes high reward, Stevenson will be 40.

We're really talking about fantasy fights.

I give Hopkins, Alvarez, Pascal and Chilemba a chance of beating Stevenson but Alvarez is the only one with an outside chance of landing the fight as he is with the same promoter and he is the mandatory challenger.

It's way less funny because "Stenson Defense Force" is like 2-3 people on this board really if you don't include people who are just try to be objective a little. And they aren't that big mouthed as the tons of Eastern fanboys who think that Russia and Ukraine are the centers of the whole boxing world and better than USA, UK, Mexico and everyone, only because they did well in the last few years. So see the reactions from the most crowded and most rabid fanboys of the site would definitely be funnier than see 2-3 guys are being disappoint.

I think Alvarez is gifted but not enough gifted to beat Stevenson. Chilemba is a questionmark and Pascal isimo worse than Stevenson.

As for the Stevenson-Beterbiev or Stevenson-Kovalev fghts. I think at least on of those will get made in this year. WBC ordered the Kovalev-Pascal fight winner to fight Stevenson. So if Stevenson wants to stay relevant he can't just vacate his belt. And it's not the same situation as Quillin's was. In 160 Quillin can go for an other belt can choose an other title a weak link, in Stevenson' case if he vacates, the belt will probably goes to Kovalev so there will be no weak link, all of the belts will beunder one guy. And Stevenson is already 37 or 38 years old. So if he don't want to call it a day and retire or if he still wants to be relevant he will have no other choice than fight the winner of Kovalev-Pascal.

                    It's not his choice.

Haymon won't let his guy fight on HBO, and HBO won't be letting Kovalev fight on Showtime. Bear in mind HBO don't do business with Haymon either.

Stevenson will vacate. But hey, he's been paid $1m + every time out and will probably land a big fight against Bute soon.

It's Haymon's interest too that Stevenson stay relevant. And I know about HBO-Showtime problems but if the WBC ordered the fight they will have to agree some way. Maybe they will fight on NBC who knows.
