All these cats coming down on Oscar but deep down inside you all know Mayweather faced a over his prime De La Hoya and still went to a close decision distance. Oscar would have torn up Floyd in his prime. I remember watching Floyd fights since the Olympics and he was constantly booed. It wasn't until he started acting like a fool that he started getting the exposure he wanted.

Apart from that, Floyd and Manny need to stop the tomfoolery and make the fight, plain and simple.
It's between Arum and Mayweather at the table, that's it.

While Floyd retired because the competition got too stiff for him. Ali carried and revived the sport. A sport that Floyd is fleecing today. With no humility or social concern. When do you hear Floyd campaigning against the injustices against the balck man in America? Not ever! You think not fighting Manny is a middle finger to haters. No its a middle finger to the sport that has given him a lifestyle people can only dream of. It's a middle finger to the fans that have afforded him that lifestyle. And it's a middle finger to all the great fighters that came before him that fought their hearts out for money no where near what Floyd makes. As black men we do have a hard road to go, but Floyd is not the example to use. Wake up
