HBO & SHO would have never even had a meeting if the fighters didn't agree to terms. The fighters agreeing was the #1 most difficult obstacle!! The parent companies, CBS & Time Warner are watching over SHO & HBO and they won't allow them to kill the biggest PPV event in history. They even have the Lewis-Tyson fight to use as a business model, FFS!!
If the fight doesn't happen, it's most likely Floyd changing the terms at the last minute....aka "btching out"!!

The fact that Moonves took time address this proves that there is truth to this and he's trying to save face while certain people still work for Showtime...
3 of Floyd's 4 fights have cost CBS/Showtime money... now have they made up that money with new subscriptions to Showtime and higher ratings...maybe some a few hundred K subscriptions but the ratings have been putrid for Showtime boxing...
And there is no way to prove Floyd was directly responsible for a slight increase in Showtime subscriptions because most people watch Showtime for its TV programming...

Floyd originally said he wanted 2/3rds...so 60/40 is a compromise... I mean if Floyd doesn't want to compromise with his opponents then should just fight Khan.. because even Cotto is going to expect Floyd to pay him more than what he could have earned against Canelo... or else... if Canelo can offer more, How is Floyd the Cashcow?
Pacquiao v. Khan at Wembley or M.E.N. will be an exciting night and knock out... I'll order that fight... and be interested because Pac actually tried to make the Floyd fight in good faith but Floyd wants to make less money for less risk...
Floyd v. Cotto 2? I'll stream it and watch Canelo on regular HBO...
