I think he does. He doesn't ever get touched by the bums he fights, but the few times I've seen him get smacked he doesn't respond well.

I mean Stiverne does have a precedent set, right? It's happened before and if it happens again, then at dude needs to go see Hunter for some chin strengthening exercises or something.
You know that was a bad stoppage in the King fight. Wilder needs to see Hunter because when he does get clipped he does a little dance, and that was fighting cab drivers and taco venders.

that KO of wilder in the ams showed his inexperience...he was getting caught repeatedly with right hands over his lazy jab...I can't tell whether he's improved in that department...logic would say he has but stiverne knows how to get on the inside and land those sneaky crosses
50/50 fight

Wilder is always tripping over himself, if Stiverne gets inside Wilders jab (I think he will) he's going to hurt him in the pocket because from what I've seen, Wilder has no inside game. None.

That's like saying Tyson had a weak chin because he got KO'd by Lewis. They are both ****ers...expect a KO. Normally heavyweights are more cautious because the potential for a fight ending abruptly is much greater because of the weight.
Boxingscene's logic...Last edited by Derranged; 01-17-2015, 10:59 AM.

wilder also throws wide punches which should give stiverne plenty of opportunities. it's kind of funny because both guys are adapt to exploit eachothers' weaknesses...this fight could be as interesting as it should be exciting

I don't know how much I believe of that because people who receive all Wlad has to offer usually end up unconcious... but I guess we'll wait and see.
I know I find Stiverne's style exciting as hell to watch. He reminds me a lot of James Toney (minus the shoulder roll and philly shell defense). What worries me is his reach, or lack thereof. Dude has arms like Mat Fraser and that's going to be a problem if Wilder chooses to stay on the outside.
It's been a minute since I've been this excited about a HW fight.
