Guerrero vs Thurman is a good fight, but Broner vs Molina is a joke!

they could've matched Broner with a lot of other guys other than Molina, Molina is coming off 2 back to back losses, one of them by KO, what does fighting a guy like this add to Adrien Broner? They're hurting his career by making him get used to this level of opposition. Also, why not try to get up in the ranks or do ranks not have any meaning these days, Molina is not even in the top 10 according to all sanctioning bodies!
They could've matched him up against Jessie Vargas, Lamont Peterson, Chris Algieri, Ruslan Provodnikov and Mauricio Herrera, instead of all these potential big fights, he's fighting John Molina!

Broner, a supposedly talented and sought after name, is fighting a guy coming off of 2 losses, one by ko. The same people wetting their panties for this, are the same ones who cried, botched and moaned when Manny fought Rios coming off of the first loss of his career. Add in the fact that these same people have been hyping up Haymon for several years as a genius who will save boxing, and we get people getting excited for what you termed a decent card. Not great, not even good, but decent. How is this any ddifferent than what we have seen in the past from this guy? Oh, because it's on [Howard]eeeeeennnbeeesee [/stern]

When was the last card on regular cable that was this good though? I'm down if there's 4-11 cards of this qaulity on NBC. I'm not saying its stay home from your best friends wedding type of event But I'll definitely pvr it.

It's the first event for f.uc.ks sake its a good first card. With Haymons stable what 2 fights would you have put on if it was your choice.

I don't know about others but I bought the Riis/ PAC fight and was actually looking forward to it. I wanted to see how Manny would respond after the KO and Im a Rios fan and was hoping he could at least test PAC and win a couple rds. Obviously that didn't happen. Riis can't handle movement and PACs movement is other worldly

One very good fight, and thats about all I'm seeing.

I think Garcia Peterson should be on this card too. It needs a bit more.

Umm this is a good card. Opportunity for Thurman to beat a fighter that people may remember. I'd rather him fight Kahn, Maidana, or Porter but I'm sure they'll run far away from Thurman. Thurman would be returning to action pretty quick.

Though Molina lost his last couple fights, he's beat some decent fighters. And gave Matthysse all he can handle. I doubt he wins but if Broner's not careful he could get KO'd. That guy Molina can punch.

The fight card isn't bad for NBC. But Broner should've fought Molina last fight, beat him, then stepped up his comp. It will be hard to respect someone calling out Pacquiao and wanting to be a top guy but fighting Molina after fighting 2 bums before that.

Thurman-Bundu performance made Thurman look human, which was the only way Haymon was gonna convince any of his other fighters to fight Thurman. There was nothing Haymon could do about his fighters rejecting his offers to fight Thurman. They were like "Na, no thanks. Either give me more money or let's wait and see more of his flaws."

Broner-Molina is a dangerous fight for Broner. All I picture is the way Molina legit hurt Matthysse pretty bad, and the way Maidana hurt Broner. Also the height and size of Molina. Broner being so average defensively just screams highlight reel KO for Molina. If Broner thinks he can box for real, this is the time to do it. He can't fight Molina or else he gets KTFO. Let's face it, Broner is flat footed and can't actually box. If he wins somehow, props.
