What I will say is that there is no reason for anyone to be talking yet including arum. It's not as if they have been waiting for that long. Negotiations are less than a month old and lot has happened since just last week. It's really too early to be getting impatient.

the first commercial of the Super Bowl starts with "...Showtime and HBO present...the megafight"

boxing fans faint at the epicness of the commercial

This is a good sign that it will happen. If people do their research, then they should know Floyd usually takes a week or more before he signs a contract. He did same thing before he fought Mosley and Canelo.

Arum isn't saying anything new, it's just that he's not used to wait on anyone. He always get all of his in-house fights done within days, especially fights that he made for Manny. He's getting the B-side treatment that Mosley and Canelo received from Floyd.

Unlikely as his press conference is with NBC, who are rivals of CBS (Showtime).

The press conference tomorrow will be probably be just to announce fights for the NBC shows.

IF the fight gets made, they should make an official trailer and put it in the previews of all the movies.

Meh, at least Bob lies to your face. Al Haymon would rather fuck a ****** than lie and that's even worse.
Could you or someone please tell me where or why folks associate Haymon with Trans***uals? Did he get caught with one? if so could someone please provide me a link to the article? Or is it just Haymon haters trying to insult him by hinting he likes chicks with ****s?

it wouldn't surprise me if they do...they'd hype this fight up like no other fight in history

even at $100ppv, i think it has the potential to flirt with 3mil buys

Yes, remember when Schaefer was pissed that Floyd didn't sign anything when they were trying to make the fight with Mosley? They were waiting for days in the Golden Boy offices and I remember Schaefer getting furious. And you're right, same thing happened with Canelo too.

You dont know if Arum has agreed to 60/40. He may be trying to get better. It is his job afterall.

But hey, I want whats fair for both guys, and I dont think Pac should go lower then 40%.

That's also true. But the super bowl is also on NBC if I'm not mistaken. But I think I like MAKs idea of a super bowl ad announcing the fight. I think it happens honestly.
