FROID needs Manny at this point to be remembered in any fashion after he retires. If he doesn't fight Manny no one will remember any of his boring ass fights nor will they ever be re-aired because nobody ever cared to watch him box, just see him lose. And that satisfactory will be gone if he cherry picks his way into oblivion.
