Umm did you actually see the Ward interview? He said he needs tune-up fights... and said he wants no parts of Kovalev (in other words)...I don't think Triple G is a tune up fight...

We'll talk about Ward in 2016 after he fights 2-3 Rodriguezes of the world... and then is ready to actually take a challenging fight...

Right, look at my Avi or my Sig and make a strong statement off that, but that fact of the matter is that your too emotional, this is a site were we talk about boxing, but you my friend get emotional when someone has something to say that goes against your personal views and then make a statement like I'm ruining boxing, come on man relax. GGG loses plain and simple, and for the record I do want to see Ward move up, but only after he beats GGG

Ward will milk this year fighting nobodies... if he even fights...
How do casuals have the nerve to come on a boxing forum and make bold statements like this without even the slightest of clue as to what they are talking about. It baffles me.
Ward takes no risks? It seems like that in hindsight (and to casuals) but wasn't it Ward who entered the Super Six tournament as the underdog?

Takes no challenges? You can't choose who you fight in a tournament. He beat all the "challenges". Kessler, Abraham, Froch. Then the Lineal LHW champion Chad Dawson who called him out at 168. It's hard to find many fighters with better resumes than that.

Ward will milk this year fighting nobodies? He's had 1 fight in more than 2 years, fighting a couple of tune-ups would be the normal procedure...

A year from now (or two at the most), Adrien Broner, Deontay Wilder, Keith Thurman, Peter Quillin and perhaps others, will pull an Andre Ward when they sue Al Haymon to try to get out of their contracts. By that time (two years at the most) they will all have been exposed by better quality fighters, their purses will go down, they will see how much money Andre Ward is making, and they will see that the amount of money Haymon is paying them is nothing compared to the amount of money they could have made fighting for Roc Nation.

When that happens, they will all rebel against Haymon and beg Roc Nation to sign them for half as much as Jay Z has already offered them. Unfortunately for them, by then Jay Z will have a full roster and won't need any of them.

                What?

Ward has always stated he is a super middle body not ready to move up never called out a light heavy said maybe one day no risks? What was super 8 and beating whole division easily? Still will take on all at 168. Why do you all hate on him? He should brag and talk like Mayweather and broner then you will bl$w him

My problem with ward is that he earned his status,by doing what he did in 2011,yet people talk as if hes currently destroying all comers at different weight classes. What is he actually doing? Scraping the bottom of the barrel,in a division that he cleaned out 4 years ago,yet his fans are content and defend him, when he refuses to move up or down in weight class. Make your choice ward,GGG or kovalev, but stop trying to draw water from a dried well. And BTW the whole,"I need to grow into light heavyweight " excuse doesn't fly. You fought your amateur career at light heavy,so now you suddenly shrunk as you got older? Smells like bull****.

                    Earned it

Yes he earned status now has to beat new challengers no rematches prove he is still the man at 168. Who do you want Chavez?,easy, ggg catch weight awesome, Lemieux please , if he grows into it and $ demands it kovalev catch weight has to happen if it's good enough for Mayweather manipulating weights he can to no fair?
