3 weeks of negotiation is allot especially when a fighter named floyd says it on national tv he wants to fight on May2 (showtime)

But you can put a deadline without making it public and piss of the other party in the process.

If in February, Pacquiao's team had come out and said, look we tried and Mayweather won't budge, it would be no issue. My question is why make it public? What was the need in doing this?

Dont you worry about who Pac is fighting rather worry about who Floyd will and when. And if he fights someone else are we gonna see the reality of floyd headlined ppvs? I think we will because everything in the past was masked with oscar, canelo and pac baiting.
