Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach is still very focused on having Manny Pacquiao face Floyd Mayweather Jr. in the first half of 2015. There are ongoing discussions to have the two welterweight champions clash in a major pay-per-view event.

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum, who promotes Pacquiao, is currently speaking with CBS CEO Less Moonves. Arum was assured by Moonves of his ability to get Mayweather for the fight.

The more aggressive, the more openings for Floyd to shred him. Chino and Oscar got away with being "mean" because they were physically bigger, Manny cannot push Floyd around. Only shot i give Manny is to stay composed and try to land a hard left. That's it, a punchers chance is all he has. He can't out box or out think Floyd and roach knows this. His best punch is the double jab followed by a straight left, which he starts from long range, comes in while pumping his jabs and then throws his straight left and spins the opponent around before they have a chance to do anything. And he doesn't cut the ring off? Watch the.algieri fight to see how good he does against runners. I suspect it will be the same against Floyd except maybe somewhat closer due to judges bias towards duckweather that they always have. But if Manny does his usual and throws 100 hard punches a round, Floyd will have no choice but to be like the usual opponent and cover up the whole round and not get any punches off. How is he going to win rounds throwing 10 punches while landing 5 and Manny is throwing 100 punches and landing 30 or 40? Floyd doesn't go against guys with speed and now u have Manny who has speed power defense and is a southpaw who has incredible stamina to throw 100 boxing fast punches a round that are very hard. Floyd is scared to death to get hit, did you guys see his eyes when chino was charging him like a bull? He looked like he was meeting the grim reaper for the first time. Floyd has been trying to tarnish mannys name in the media for years with false steroid allegations, making fun of Asians, saying hes not his own boss ECT ECT ECT. I'm sure it had to of gotten under mannys skin and you could tell every time he called the chicken out to fight. So you better believe he will be in the absolute best condition of his life and his senses will be heightened die to all that adreneline caused by all the media attacks by mayweather. Mayweather cant punch his way out of a wet paper bag so Manny won't respect his power and will just be unloading hundreds of punches a rounds with furious combinations. I can't wait to see the scared look on mayweathers face when Manny is unleashing his fury. That alone will be worth the 100 dollars in ppv money, not to me too when Manny has his hand raised he will be the undisputed king of boxing, I honestly doubt Floyd will even want a rematch after the punishment he will take.
