There is now another version out, v1.5. This version is a lot more focused on skills, knockouts are a lot rarer and not so many power punchers. Majority of people still play v1 but it really depends on what you're feeling.
I have a promotion on both versions and the maintenance isn't much and for how basic this game is, you get a lot of enjoyment out of it.
Rooq has also introduced in-game tournaments, enter a fighter and match him up against the best in the world. There are a variety of tournaments so you'll have ones that limit a competitor to 10 fights, 20 fights etc to make it more fair.
If we can get more peeps on it from the Scene I'll set-up Scene only tournaments.
Oh man forgot about this game. I haven't played this in about 4 game years apparently, but my poor boy, Sid Sivak, went on like a 15 fight losing streak ffs. Hard Timessssssssssssssss. Two division champion to that sad ending.
Apparently I was solid at picking talent doe. 3 of my prospects I was working on when I stopped playing went on to win world titles. Cool to check in on that, but that **** was overwhelming to continue playing.
