At least he put an actual number (which they never said wasn't true), why are Top Rank afraid to put out any information about the fight. They keep saying they are doing everything to make the fight but never say what exactly.

Roach keeps leaking information that benefits his side, but this dude is not at the negotiation table (neither is Manny). There were rumors that Floyd and Showtime wanted a 2 fight deal (Roach mentioned this on an article here a while back, and was against it), but now all of a sudden he is for it (they don't even know what they want). Just put your demands out there in the public and let the other side respond. The fans will decide if it is reasonable or not.

Arum has already said he didn't want to negotiate the fight through the media. It's not going to matter to us who gets what but as pac says, "the fans deserve this fight". This fight is all about the Benjamin's and with floyds greed it's not going to be made or he just doesn't want it to be made.

Hey Floyd fans, can we stop acting like Manny is in the same situation as Floyd was when he fought Oscar..Manny is 10x a bigger star then Floyd was at that point... Floyd was a great fighter but popularity wise it's not even close.
Manny deserves a 60-40 split and shouldn't have every single thing dictated to him for this fight.. Floyd is absolutely the A side but Manny is the A- side...
Arum stepping aside won't happen so let's not act like that will happen. Should Manny go in the room and negotiate his own contract? Would Al Haymon step aside if Manny was in Floyds shoes? Of course not!! That excuse is so played out at this point...

Floyd Mayweather is twice as big of a star as De la Hoya was when he fought him and Pacquiao has been knocked out recently and he is fighting inferior competition and pulling inferior PPV numbers. So Mayweather gets to call the shots. That's how it has always been in the sport of boxing. Don't hate the player hate the game. Pacquiao and Arum think that the norms of the business don't apply to them and it's seems that their fans feel the same way. Just imagine how you would feel if the situation were reversed. Bob Arum is doing everything in his power to prevent the fight from happening (Law Suits, Fake phantom negotiations, Won't Speak to Al Haymon or Richard Schaefer, Cuts must Heal, Has to Build a stadium and Cinco De Mayo is only for Mexican fighters). So since he is actually in the way of the fight happening he should step aside.

Try to discredit his accomplishments all you want and be in as deep denial as what makes you feel good but Mayweather is one the greatest fighters to ever lace up gloves. And nothing that you or anyone else says will change that.

Arum is the media puppet master. So him saying that he doesn't want to negotiate through the media is more than disingenuous. If Mayweather's greed is the problem and Pacquiao is willing fight for charity why is $40,000,000 such a low ball offer.

Mayweather being the highest paid athelete in the world is a well documented fact. Showtime supposedly not making a profit on his fights is just something that haters speculate to make themselves feel better about the fact that they hate to see him be so successful.

Now Arum is all good for the big cash out on Manny and Floyd is also ready to move on in 2 fights..
The fight will happen before both go away.. Too late for both unfortunately.

Mayweather actually admitted that what he had said wasn't true and that he had contradicted himself. When has Manny Pacquiao ever once admitted doing anything wrong or saying anything that isn't true? When we all know that he has told plenty lies and played a very active role in preventing the fight from being made. But he still tries to portray himself as an innocent angel that never does anything wrong. The guy is obviously full of crap. At least Mayweather has admitted when he has been full of crap.
