Another thing, it's disrespectful. If it was and MLK day and It was a huge boxing day and Mexicans/Latins were trying to fight on that date, you know some Blacks would be tripping. Let's be a smart business man like Arum... It's smart to have Canelo vs Cotto on May 2nd. May and Manny would out do those numbers on any other date of the year. Bob promote help promote the Cotto vs Canelo and on another date he help promote May vs Manny. BIG numbers on May 2 and HUGE numbers on another date with Manny vs May.

So let me get this straight. Floyd Mayweather, the top dog in boxing who has been reserving the MGM for Cinco De Mayo for the past three years, should concede the date to two fighters that he has beaten because Bob Arum and Saul Alvarez say that the date should be reserved exclusively for fights involving a Mexican boxer. It's a pretty self serving stance to take and it is a road block in making the fight happen between Mayweather and Pacquiao. It's so obvious that a child could see it.

The main reason that he can't make the fight is that there is an irrational expectation amongst the media that holds him %100 accountable for whether the fight gets made or not and places no accountability at all on Bob Arum and Manny Pacquiao. And I think that it's more than ironic that you use the same person who has been doing everything in his power to prevent the fight from happening as an example of a person who has been able to make fights happen. Now De la Hoya is playing a role in preventing the fight too with this only Mexican fighters should fight on Cinco De Mayo campaign.

I think the funniest one was that Mayweather promotions has to be the lead promoter. Yeah, the biggest money fight in history and you think they are going to hand it to a promotional outfit that didn't exist 12 months ago and has never put on a high profile PPV event? Please, Floyd can't even read a press release announcing the fight, much less lead a promotional team.

Freddie Roach doesn't know what the f...k is going on. He has no involvement in any fight negotiations involving Pacquaio and, like usual, is blowing smoke out of the side of his ..ass.

Mayweather knows that a fight with Pacquaio can't be made without Arum, so I am sure he is not demanding that Arum not be involved. Mayweather has never had a problem negotiating a fight deal with anyone other than Bob Arum. If the fight isn't made, it will be because Arum doesn't want to make the fight.

He did his homework. Bob Arum is the one who was quoted as saying that Mayweather/Pacquaio fighting on Cinco De May would be disrespectful to Mexicans. Fat Dan is trying to cover Arum's ass as usual and Pac worshippers are ****** enough to believe anything that he says since Fat Dan hates Mayweather.
