Does anyone give Pascal a chance against Kovalev?

Anyone??? Will Pascal put up a fight or crumble once he feels the power?

Absolutely none. If a Bute that let his hands go in the final rounds troubled Pascal, then Kovalev will drop him at-least twice.

I think pascal will go into survival mode once he feels kovalev's power...he might make it to the final bell running, but other than that he's got nothing to offset kovalev

I think he has a puncher's chance in this fight.... plus he has alot of speed, that if used correctly he can cause alot of problems for kova... hopkins was suppose to be the guy to test kova, but he simply didn't fight... i think pascal will fight!

Of course he has a chance.

He has Roy Jones in his corner, and the crowd will be on his side. The Canadian officials will be there for him as well.

And Pascal's a quick, crafty, well-rounded boxer. He's actually a more difficult challenge for Kovalev than the limited Stevenson with his big left hand but not much else.

I agree with this totally. Pascal is a live dog in this. He might be able to get something done early. If he cannot, it is going to be very hard for him to see the 12th though. He might only have a 20% chance, but he will go for it anyway.

Pascal is a good fighter in his own right and I quite like him, but "crafty" and "well-rounded" are not the adjectives I would use to describe him. He's just as limited as Stevenson, only in a different way.

To answer TS's question, no, I don't think he has much of a chance. Kovalev is all kinds of wrong for him. I was sort of disappointed when this fight was announced because I think Pascal matches up much better with Stevenson. That would have been an intriguing fight (with Stevenson as the favourite). Kovalev vs Pascal is a foregone conclusion.
