Would Pacquiao be a hall-of-famer if he never moved up to welterweight and beyond?

no question about it. the wins in the welterweight are just icing in the cake. his resume is already better than Floyd without his welterweight wins.

He was pretty much shutout by Raheem. At 135. Then was forced to get down to 130 for the Pacquiao rematch and get clobbered, which took whatever he had left out of him. The third match was just silly. It was a decent win, but not something where I'm like, wow! Definitely not on the scale of the other wins. More important than who is when.
it wasn't a raheem shutout. it was too boring and ugly to be a shutout for anyone.

the rematch was always 130. morales knew it. that's why pac tuneup was at 130.

i think morales just didn't want to train hard and cut to 130 for a tuneup, which might explain his disappointing performance compared to his previous fight.

Cards were all over the place but Morales won 2-3 rounds at best. He looked like ****.

He didn't want to go back to 130 either but big money beckoned. These are decent wins for Manny, nothing more.

Morales wasn't really that far gone during their 2nd fight in my opinion. He wasn't prime at that point but he wasn't getting his ass kicked before the stopage. He was fighting back and seems to be winning at some instances. 3rd fight, Erik was pretty much shot.

Raheem was all wrong for Morales style wise. Prime Morales would probably beat Raheem but he won't look good doing it.

The 2nd fight was definitely not as good as the first MAB win but still pretty good.

manny is a media creation..he actually won fighter of the year off beating a drained morales in 2006..won fighter of the year in 2008 off beatin a drained de la hoya..and won fighter of the year in 2009 off beating a drained cotto..

since 2009 manny hasnt won any significant awards in boxing, and that lets me know he was on the juice after getting his but beat by morales in the first fight.

look at manny in 2005 and then in 2006 and you can tell he was on steroids..nobody gains that much muscle and energy in one year unless they are on the juice.

Pacquiao is an ATG but not because of those Morales wins.
LMAO! You just ignored the fact Pac was allowed to wear his punching gloves unlike the first fight and unlike your coward boy against Maidana 1 and 2. The punching gloves made the difference in 2nd fight and 3rd not because Morales was weight drained. You don't believe then ask your boy why he didn't allowed Maidana to wear his.

raheem was just the wrong style. he didn't beat up morales, erik looked fresh after the fight, he lost in a chess match.

win 2 was still great for pac, the first 6rds were even. the 3rd fight, although exciting to watch was just decent.

Idiot! Pac was already WBC flyweight champ and linealchamp at the age of 18. By age of 24 he is already a 3 diviisions champ and 2 lineal champ while your coward boy by this age still fighting tomato cans.

Floyd and Pac both started boxing at the age of 16 at 106 and both fought all the way up to welterweight and above. While.Pac you surely is on the juice and your coward boy is not. I wonder how did you do the math but certainly you have a pea size brain.

In the second fight Pac was allowed to wear his punching gloves unlike your boy against Maidana plus his improved right hand =ko.
