    Was Good Seeing Mares Back

He dispatched a tough, game individual who took some halacious shots. In the process displayed his prime level arsenal of punches with snap.

I get the feeling he'll be in a couple of exciting new era little man fights in the near future. In with the likes of who knows.

    Thoughts?

He looked good, especially mixing it upstairs and downstairs. He needs to stay with his trainer. They are a good fit together.

he beat destroyed ramirez in a worst fashion than loma.
would like to see the two of them clash.

but then i feel like ramirez style is just the kind that makes loma and mares' style look good lol. how good is ramirez anyways? i see he has a huge heart.

He would get KO'd by Jhonny again. While Mares looked good from a physical standpoint, he had no business getting touched like he was in this fight. Jhonny probably ruined the kid.

Well. They might get the rematch and Mares called him out after the win. That would be a pretty solid scrap I think.

As long as he stays aware that his possible opponents (Gonzalez, Walters, etc) will always try and punch with him, and punch hard, Mares is going to be really fun to watch.

Ignoring all of the TR-affiliated fighters, Mares still has a massive rematch with Jhonny Gonzalez and a potential fight with Cuellar before the "well runs dry", ala Peter Quillin.

Mares is a TV-friendly enough fighter that he'd be fine with having keep-busy fight for a while, after those two, so he'll be fine.

Might end up being the star fighter at the weight.

Based on this performance, Jhonny repeats. Mares can't use his best weapon, the low blow, against Jhonny unless he wants to get countered with something huge.

Yeah Mares looked wicked sharp. Albeit Ramierz was not that much of an challenge. Game fighter though.
