Before the Floyd/Canelo fight everyone said Floyd was scared and a coward to fight him and would get props if he did. After the fight, people have the same opinion of Floyd and a win that goes unnoticed. This would be the same outcome if he fought GGG.

Same thing with Mosley after he destroyed Marg and Mayorga. People said he would NEVER fight him. Then as soon as he beats him you can hear cricket and the hate continue.
