The point is Manny and his team agreed to 50/50, but then went back on their word because of his numbers vs Oscar to get a 60/40 split. Floyd is in a similar situation having the 2 highest PPV's while Manny's numbers are declining.

What do you think a fair split would be?
I don't think Floyd should do anything less than 65-35, and based on Manny's recent performances 70/30 is more than fair. He should just ask for a 2 fight deal and if he wins he could demand what ever split he thinks is fair in a rematch.

If I'm Floyd I would offer him a 65/35 split with a rematch clause, giving the winner 10% or 15% more if it's Floyd (75/25 if wins by decision) or (80/20 if wins by KO), and 20% or 25% more for Manny (55/45 if wins by decision) or (60/40 if by KO).

Everyone wins here the fans especially since we would get 2 fights. Floyd gets his money, and if Manny wins he becomes the #1 boxing attraction and can make more if he chose to do a rematch.

The only truth about the fight is, Pacquiao and mayweather will earn more than 5 times of what they would earn in fighting other opponents. Mayweather as the A side is a pure bullshiet. Both of them are A sides.

Sorry to break it to you, but this is how boxing works, this is business 101, you dont go to the negotiation table with I dont like you as a basis for negotiations, one day you'll well you might understand basic business and maybe you didnt know boxing is a business and you have an a-side and a b-side based on what each fighter brings to the event.
