Floyd is simply too good for anyone that the "We only work with Haymon fighters because we're trying to turn boxing into WWE" Showtime "stable" has to offer.

The only way Floyd could be challenged is if he fights fighters who aren't exclusive to Showtime/Haymon/GBP. None of them are in his league and they're all terrible overrated by casual fans who DKSAB.

Too skilled. Too fast. Too everything.
All the Floyd haters were saying Maidana won the first fight and were calling for a rematch. Then after the second fight the same people are saying the fight was garbage and shouldn't have taken place.

Anyone with a brain knew that the 32 mil flat guarantee for floyd for any fight would cause cbs/showtime to lose money.. Whatever executive signed off on that deal should be fired if he hadn't already..

For 32 mil a fighter needs to do huge PPv numbers something in the neighborhood of 1.2 mil buys,,, there isn't a fighter alive that could consistently do those numbers without another big name opponent sharing the card,,,
Give floyd- manny, canelo, Oscar, cotto, mosely and yeah he will justify the 32 mil guarantee... But if it's a fight with a lesser known fighter like Maidana, ghost, Ortiz, etc no matter how competive the matchup, it won't draw the money needed to cover Floyd's 32 mil..

It's not Floyd's fault as he is took a deal he couldn't refuse,, the showtime executive that signed off on the deal should be fired...l
It was a no brainer when they signed him that they had the canelo and a manny fight as the only big draws left as floyd had already fought shane, cotto, Oscar on hbo....
You can't blame floyd, only showtime for making a ****** deal

You're better than this King. Maidana is a talented boxer with Ko power in both hands, solid defense, and lacking in stamina but with tons of heart and full if ill intent. He bodies anyone at 147 not named Mayweather and Bradley.

No wonder Maidana was knocking all them fighters .... with his punchers gloves. No way is he fighting with those against me .... health comes first" - Floyd minimize risk Mayweather

Floyd took away Maidana's best chance before he even stepped into that big ring ..... Then Kenny STOP STOP Bayless handled the rest!

The cable companies don't run PPV commercials out of charity, they do it because the more it sells the more they make.

Showtime produces the 24/7 or all access and do pay for part of the promotion, but they make it back with around 5% after a certain amount of buys

HBO and SHO don't really make any money on PPV, they get their brand out and then get the replay so that gets people to subscribe.

MGM Resorts International owns a bunch of a casinos on the strip. When there is a big fight the whole city fills up, it is in their best interest to keep Vegas packed.

Here is the links to the four wall deals that you obviously don't know anything about since you are usually making shit up.

Half of 7 million is 3.5 million.

              Try to keep up.

What evidence do you have? You spew a lot of crap without any numbers to back it up. Sure they can make money in Mexico but they don't make $20 million that Pacquiao is supposed to be guaranteed.

Yes Arum said $5 dollar ppvs in China but how many are they selling? Are they even selling 100k? Obviously it's not enough if they aren't fighting exclusively in china.

              Sure it is.

That's why Pacquiao's next fight will be in the states. If he was really making all that make believe money he would never come back.
It is way too late for me to get too far into this but calm down. I wasn't saying you didn't know **** or that I knew everything. I didn't make any numbers up and every time I've said something I never stated anything as fact. You provided some links about things I wasn't aware of, you get smarter by talking to smarter people. For example the 4 wall deal, I had no clue about that as I thought everyone just did a site fee. On the same token I don't believe things like HBO and Showtime don't make money, but you definitely brought up great points.

Aside from that I never claimed I stated anything as fact, quote me if I did. I'm too tired to get into this anymore but good luck man, solid post and I learned something. I can't hate on anyone for that.

I said it in another thread the 3 headed monster of (haymon, schafer, mayweather) thought that they could run boxing and showtime who's new president at the time that deal was made was Golden Boy's old lawyer so cmon it was obvious what they were trying to do. Consolidate everything to one network give floyd that huge deal and have him be the face like oscar was the face for hbo at his peak but guess what happened Oscar figured out what was going on and gave richie the boot and even though floyd saved grace with showtime with the canelo fight after the crappy numbers he got with his debut fight he still hasnt lived up to his end of the contract and now that golden boy is under oscar Haymon and Floyd are on their own and stephen espinoza president of showtime cant say **** because Moonves is working on getting the pac deal done himself to get his money back.

Its pretty simple FLoyd ego and his line of bull **** that he "runs boxing" blew up in his face.
