Idk what hes thinking. I dont really care who gets paid what really but realistically 50/50 is laughable. 60/40 is good with sponsors from EACH beer company paying their own guy to wear logos and what not. And for those who think cotto will not fight in texas, dont be surprised. He wants the most money possible so doing the fight at jerry's stadium is the smartest thing to do especially with the gate revenue they would generate over there.

How is 50/50 laughable? This is one of the few issues that can be objectively discussed solely on facts, and the numbers indicate these guys are as evenly matched as possible.

I don't think its crazy either,i've said it before,compare ppv sales,just because cotto has done more ppv doesn't mean he does better each time,look at canelo/Floyd against cotto/Floyd and see who did better,,,,look at zab/cotto and canelo/Angulo and compare the numbers,comare lara/canelo with cotto/mayorga...if canelo had more ppv fights to me he would still be like cotto based on these other ppv he had,i think cotto should be introduced last and walk in last since he's the champ and I think it should always be that way,but as far as the money I do think 50/50 is good,canelo does have fans and fills up the places where he fights,look at what he did the night he fought when Chavez/Martinez did too,he had a lot of people at his fight,not everyone could do that

I responded by giving examples of how being the better fighter doesnt make you the lineal champion because as fans we should be demanding that those arguments are settled in the ring rather than having fighters duck eachother and saying "OH its okay because that guy is the REAL champion in my eyes" I clearly stated that was the point I was making in my post. You responded in a more defensive manner..boarderline hostile, except you didnt insult me which is debateable actually.
