You don't have to agree that it's as bad, all I'm asking you is to be honest with yourself. They are comparable in that BOTH were not in anyone's radar before their last fight. Algieri beat a guy who gave Bradley all he can handle and a Ruslan that opponents were not too willing to even fight.

Maidana got the fight because he beat Broner. That is the only reason. Maidana looked bad against the only other boxer, Devon and was not impressive against some of the other opponents but beat them due to his punch ..... but we all know that Floyd removed those gloves from Maidana.

It really doesn't matter if you think that Maidana with no punchers gloves is better than Algieri with his track shoes on. In some ways, Maidana's pick is worse and in some ways, Algieri is worse. Pick your poison.

I know why they both were bad. I'm just asking you to be honest and do the same.

I don't think Khan can beat Devon Alexander. Khan's talented, but he's overrated nowadays. I thought he was a much better fighter several years ago.

If you look at how they got the fight, I would say its comparable. Maidana beat Berto, I mean Broner. That is how Maidana came into the picture and why its comparable. Broner had a tough time against Taylor and Paulie!!!

I do got a strange feeling that something is in the works for May next year. Floyd's "big surprise", Floyd Sr.'s comments on the fight, and now these rumored negotiations all seems like they got something planned.

I know not to get my hopes up too high but I'm sure Showtime doesn't want to lose anymore money with the possible Cotto-Canelo and the only way to prevent that is a Pacquaio-Mayweather match.

Did you read the thread a week ago that stated that, right after the Maidana fight, Bob Arum turned down a $40 million guarantee with a 35 percent upside for a Mayweather fight? Apparently, you only read the threads that are critical to Mayweather.

Why would Manny take 40M and 35% when BOTH of them will bring in 250 easy for the fight. Thats just PPV numbers. So Manny should give May 210M??? Man y'all are some damn fools. They BOTH NEED each other. 45-55 split and May get the 55. Rematch clause in the contract. Manny beat Floyd if they ever fight.
