Pacquiao is hittable and Algieri simply just never tried. Mayweather will catch Pacquiao during one of his reckless amateurish Amir Khanish combinations. Like Khan, Pacquiao gets Ko by a good counter-puncher. Mayweather got this.
Mayweather and his fans always claim that there's no way on earth that Pacquaio is in the same level as Mayweather and yet didn't want to fight him in the ring.

You're overlooking the human aspect. Pacquiao isn't going to be motivated to fight anyone for a long time after a loss like that and when he does come back, he'll look a lot different. I'm too tired to go into further detail but hopefully this subject comes up again.
If Manny lost, he can still say I want a rematch. Just like he did against Bradley and Marquez. See?
The biggest problem in all this is and was always Floyd.
Floyd has 2 important things to consider.
1) Floyd can lose his precious "0". Floyd even told Manny "What if I lose?"
2) Win or lose, Floyd would be leaving a piece of himself in that ring the night he faces Manny. Floyd even says, "Health comes first".
